Sometimes you can find tools on Craigslist or Facebook that really just need some TLC in order to be very usable again. This jointer apparently suffered the humidity and winters of Iowa in an unheated garage. Some elbow grease and some tenacity yielded a very serviceable jointer once it was completed.

This jointer cost $125 used, plus another $25 for parts ordered from Grizzly. Those were cosmetic in nature, the “shut-off” paddle, and the push block holder, and a wheel. Not bad eh ?
